Beginner students advance to this level after successfully learning the fundamentals of fencing (minimum of one year experience) and completion of the Yellow Armand. During this stage, participants will complete the Orange level of the program and work toward their Green armband. Enrollment is by consent of the coach.

This program provides determined fencers with a more intense level of training with everything from conditioning and footwork to individual lessons. Students are introduced to various attack and defense techniques that apply to a tactical setting. Students will also learn what makes a good referee, practicing their refereeing skills during fencing bouts. The program also includes plenty of free fencing, as well as “handicap” bouts that help you to take your fencing game to new levels. Students must have their own electric fencing gear.
